• Do you think music videos enhance the music? 

yes I think the music videos enhance the music. I see another picture from the music when I see the video. I always look at music videos I love it. It be like a short movie that fits in with the words. 

   

• Give examples of music videos you like and dislike and tell us why. 

Here is four music videos I like. First of all Miss independent by Ne-yo. I love this song and the music video. I don’t know why I love the music video but I get a special feeling when I listen to the song and see the video. It’s a good dance in the video and they are also so stylish. 

Next song or video is "If I could turn back the hands of time" by R. Kelly. I love this song so much. It’s a very deep and sad song but I love it. When a saw the video for the first time, I was so emotional. This is a love song and a love video, but I like it.

I have two more music videos that I like. It is Say goodbye by Chris brown and U got it bad by Usher. I love these videos especially Say goodbye. It’s like old love and the video is so cute. They also dance in this video and they are so good at it. In U got it bad is it the same. 

One music video I don’t like is Wrecking ball by Miley Cyrus. I remember when this video came out. I saw it and just wonder what I just have seen. I don’t like this video I can’t see the meaning of it and I didn’t like the song. 

I don’t like Anaconda by Nicki Minaj. It’s very sexist and not for kids. She just sitting there and shake her booty and other stuff. So I can’t se the meaning of this video. 

• What do you think of the content of music videos? Is it too violent and sexist? 

Yeah some music videos are to violent and sexist. For example Nicki Minajs music videos. Not all of them but some. You can’t always see these videos if you are beneath eighteen.

• Are the artists good role models? 

Yeah I think so, I mean they have succeeded with music. They are good people but most of the artist then start with drugs and other bad stuff. 

• If you think this is a problem; What can we do about it? 

I don’t think we can do something special for it, but just ignore them if you don’t like them and don’t listen to the music from these artists.
